Trainsong Park is a 5-acre park in the Bethel Triangle that was last renovated in 2003 to add furnishings, playground updates and new accessible paths along with lighting and a HUD-Funded neighborhood skate park.
More recently, the park was included for renovation funding in the 2018 Parks and Recreation Bond Measure, and now staff are beginning the planning process to be ready for construction as early as next year.
Immediately following planned soil remediation work, the goal is to renovate priority areas within the park and re-open the site in the summer or fall of 2027.
We need input from people who live near the park, those who use the park, and people who care about the park. That’s you! What should change? What should stay the same? What should the project priorities be? Your insights are important and will influence the design of park improvements.
Please take our first survey and sign up to be on the interested parties list. You’ll be the first to receive notices for public meetings, project updates, or additions to the project website. Thank you!
