Accessing Fred Meyer on Division

I use either a bike or car to access FM, both means are currently problematic. I live in the Goodpasture Island area, & cycling, use existing bike paths & Lone Oak Dr. There is a ped/bike crossing at Division. However, west bound traffic is routinely traveling fast, sometimes ignoring the crossing--it feels like you can never be sure you're safe! Driving is almost worse, particularly making a left turn out of FM onto Division. Between the volume of traffic & speed of west bound traffic, making that turn is somewhat of a leap of faith! There are way, way too many vehicles on that segment of road, making traffic congestion a very frequent problem for drivers, & a danger for cyclists.
